This wine is an intense shade of crimson with a big punch of earth, spice and tobacco. Its richness is captivating with hints of deep black jammy fruit. Hook line and sinker im a sucker for this rich, round, beautiful bodied red. Want to know my favorite thing about this wine? I dont feel like im gnawing on a piece of lumber, instead the wine is balanced with a tinge of oakiness. Chateau Montelena gets it right again with their 2007!
